PCB Disposal

PCB Disposal

A polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) is an organic chlorine compound with the formula C12H10−xClx. Polychlorinated biphenyls were once widely deployed as dielectric and coolant fluids in electrical apparatus, carbonless copy paper and in heat transfer fluids.

As PCB‘s are now proven to be highly carcinogenic, anything it comes in contact with has to be disposed of in the correct manor and the correct disposal certificates have to be provided. CK Beckett are fully licensed to remove, transport, store and dispose of all PCB contaminate items. A fully PCB test is required to determine the PPM (parts per million) content of the PCB, this can be done by yourselves or we can offer this service for you.
